Personal Account

The personal account makes order status information available to every client at any time of day, regardless of the client’s whereabouts. You are spared the trouble of e-mailing or calling the support service and waiting for a response. All you need is Internet access.

Enter your personal account using the login name and password e-mailed to you the first time you submitted an order. This information is also available at any time from your personal manager.

Using your personal account

In the Personal Account Status section you can:

  • obtain information on your personal account status (amount currently owed or your account balance);
  • view the detailed history of all payments with payment dates and orders included in each payment.

You can use the funds in your personal account to pay for new orders. Regular clients can have their orders completed on credit, to be subsequently paid once per month using any convenient payment option.

We provide group access to the personal account, which is particularly convenient for corporate clients. You can add new contact persons to your account and manage other personal settings in the Personal Details section.

Corporate clients can also receive reports on all services provided during a reporting period in a convenient form and file format, such as html, pdf, xls, cvs, xml, etc. For corporate clients this eliminates paperwork in reporting the services ordered from us to their accounting departments. Just let us know the basic parameters and preferred formats for your reports. We will prepare a custom report form for your company, which will be available for download in your personal account as may be necessary or it will be e-mailed to you once every reporting period.

Managing orders

In the Orders section you can:

  • view the status of paid orders;
  • view the planned completion date;
  • form invoices for unpaid orders and complete payment;
  • view a detailed archive of completed orders. This includes order name, list of services provided, their cost, names of files included in the order, rates, contact details of your personal manager, contact person responsible for the order at your end, and other vital information.

Source and target files of all your orders are stored in our archive, unless the nondisclosure agreement with the client requires they be destroyed upon completion of the project.

Please note: for security reasons such files are not available for download in your personal account, but you may request any file from the archive of your orders via e-mail.

Managing invoices

The personal account allows you to manage flexibly intermediate invoices formed upon submission of new orders or issued by your personal manager.

Intermediate invoices reflect the preliminary cost of services and turnaround time.

For corporate clients the personal account is both a source of information on past orders and personal account status and a way to simplify and streamline payments to ABBYY Language Services.

Personal manager

Each ABBYY Language Services client has a personal manager who is always there to answer all questions about the progress on your orders, available payment options, discuss any finer points of a translation (such as terminology and formatting), and provide advice on any other issues.

The name and contact details of your personal manager are available in your personal account.
